On behalf of our school community, I invite you to explore our website and learn about our beautiful school, St Therese’s, Bendigo.
The most recognisable quality of our school is the genuine sense of welcome and community that is offered, something that has been developed, fostered and valued for a long time. We believe that when you join our school, your family has a place here, and your child will be recognised as an individual. My aim as Principal is to enrol your family, not just your child and ensure that we walk their educational journey together.
We are a school community strongly influenced by our patron saint, St Therese of Lisieux. Her message of “doing the ordinary things extraordinarily well for God” permeates the prayer and actions of those within our school. Students are challenged to live their lives according to our graduate outcomes and become people of Faith, Courage, Wisdom, Hope, Integrity, and Respect.
As Principal, I lead a dedicated, caring, and professional staff who work hard to equip each child with the learning they require to grow as individuals and contributing members of our community. We strive for academic excellence through explicit and focused instruction, opportunities to investigate and inquire, and attention to evidence-based practice.
